  Mau Rakau

This month we have been learning how to use a Mau Rakau. We have been learning lots of cool moves. It is so tricky though but it is so worth it. Next week on Friday we will be performing in front of the school at the school assembly. I'm so nervous but excited at the same time.

If you ever get the opportunity I really do recommend going even if it’s not really your thing, still give it a shot because you would probably never get a chance joking never say never.

We also do bone carving in the session right after we do Mau Rakau. So if you don't know what a bone carving looks a pounamu/green stone. And if you dont know what that looks like heres a photo of a pounamu and bone carving.
